I guess it was a decent video for your first one. Just a few things about it.

The fps was bad, not terrible, but bad. You can fraps it with 0.5x speed and then double the fps in vegas I think. I know another program that have that function, and many video makers use it, but I can't recall it's name atm. Maybe someone else can name the prog.
The intro (drifting in circles at autox) was a bit boring to see. No action there.
No custom cameras, or very few of them.
Only one car drifting, in a movie that is over 4 minutes it gets boring, for a movie with that length you need action to entertain the viewer. Good twin drifting, for example.
You forgot Ctrl+F sometime, I think.
And last, but not the least, the music. It was my type of music, it sounds nice, but it would feel nice also if you sync the clips with the music, if you understand. That's rather hard to do with that type of music, but it can be done I suppose.

This is just critisicm based from my own point of view, don't take this as any negative crap. Just hints and advices on how to make your next one even better. To be honest, my first video was way worse than this one, so you're much better than me anyway. I'm just saying what I want in LFS-vids. :]

Overall, 4/10. I'm looking forward to see your next vid dude, bring it on.

I'd really want it on youtube also, I know stage6 is "better", but since my firefox doesn't have the necessary plugins to play the streaming videos from stage6, I have to download your movies which.. I'm not in the mood for. :P

Edit: Alright, I downloaded the movie and watched it. And it was a good one too, I am however curious if the on-board camera is from your car all the time? I saw some nasty driving from a few racers there. Not clean driving by some, but ya. Overall a good movie. Might've been better if it wasn't sped up 10x though, and some more camera angles would be great too. I absolutely love the music, perfect choice.

Now this.. this is very cool. Very well done.

I liked it too but also thinks that it gets a bit repetitive. Good use of camera angles and the music fits perfectly, IMHO. If you would've put a little more combos in there it would've been excellent. Now you're gonna have to settle with "good one". :]

Speaking of music, what song did you use in this movie? What is it called? I absolutely love the guitarr here. :]

True, but the main difference in the videos is how it's made. And that's what matters to me. I don't like this video mainly because you used the standard camera, no custom cameras. But also because it's only one car driving around BLGP. There's nothing interesting in this video at all, it's like watching a regular replay. It would've been more interesting if you used custom cameras, perhaps some special effect(s), more cars that actually race with each other, showing off some good battles etc etc etc.

Instead of using a digital camera to record a movie, use a program like Fraps or any similar program that records what's going on, on your screen and then edit the clips in some movie editing program like Vegas or the one that WinXP has built in. Windows movie maker or whatever it's called. And btw, you spelled "edited" wrong, I think. :]

The question "Why would people want to see it?" can be asked in this case also, the answer however would be: No reason.

I'm not a pro in making movies, I only made one or two myself and those were never published due to me thinking they were too bad to show others. However, I do know what I want to see in LFS racing movies, and that's what I'm writing about here.

I'd have to agree with squidhead here, but would also like to add two things that he didn't mention: I saw the camera going through the cars several times, this kinda ruins the movie even more, so in your future movies, think about a better position for the camera where the cars won't go through it. And also you claim that it's a safety lap you're showing there. Care to explain why the cars are going at full speed if it's a safety lap? As far as I know, safety laps are led by a safety car and at low speed, hence the name: Safety lap. But maybe I'm way off here..?

And btw, everyone's having the right to say their opinion, therefore you have no right to tell someone to "st*u". If you don't want criticism, why post it here?

Keep making movies, looking forward to see your next one. If you dare to post it here again that is, maybe you're skipping that since you don't want negative criticism from your viewers that doesn't want to piss you off, but to give you advice(s) of how to make your next movie better.

I did see some good drifts, however, I don't like this video. Why? First of all, the fps is rather low. And also, there's way too much special effects. Different "effect" every time you changed scene, which just annoyed me. Keep it clean, keep it simple, and it will be better, in my point of view at least.

I like this one, although I do agree with squidhead with alot of stuff. But overall a 7/10 from me. I'm curious, what's the song called?

I had this problem for Dori.S drift server earlier as well, after trying for 5 minutes I gave up and went to another server. I have no idea what caused this, but for me it worked fine just to connect to another server.

I'm not so good at making movies.. but I do know one thing; The movie should be made so that the audience can watch it without getting pain in their eyes.

Just regular criticism:
The music was good, this is a matter of taste ofc. The camera work was good the 2 minutes I watched, but try some different angles sometimes. In-car view, static camera at some corner, etc. Also, I noticed that the camera was going through the fence once, try not to do that. That goes with cars as well. And the most important thing: Make your next video slightly brighter so it doesn't hurt the eyes when you watch it. :]

Hi TheStig, I was one of the guys who were drifting in your server when you ran rnd1, and I liked that layout really much. I'm sure I will host this layout on my own server pretty soon, but I would like the rnd1 layout as well, if you're willing to share it I would be happy.
